Badland infinity
Explore randomly-generated corridor levels with this cute little flying character.
This game is remake of my old Scratch fan-project that I've been wanting to remake for a long time (here is a link to the project, if you are, for some reason, interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14oVUOiU365xvnAsNFzVZlgx2oiBGSz9C/view?usp=drivesdk).
I wanted to remake it on the same engine, subsequently replacing it completely with this new version, which I worked on for several months before publishing it here.
But then you might ask, "Then why are you publishing this here and not on Scratch?"; and the answer is quite simple: Scratch's servers turned out to be too weak for this monstrous project.
I must admit, it offended me quite a bit... But it didn't drive me to despair.
And so I decided to spend a few more days working on it to remove some of the crutches I had added to make it work on vanilla Scratch, and now, personally, I think its code is still full of junk (for example, the weird placement of the settings in the settings menu due to the fact that there was no section "Engine data" in original version)(or, another example, a custom physics engine that cries in pain every frame it calculates), but it actually turned out pretty fun... Not only to make game, but to play afterwards as well.
I got a little carried away... Anyway, I just hope you have fun and I hope you don't feel like you're just wasting your time (:
All rights to the Badland series belong to Frogmind (now HypeHype inc.), and I am not trying to make money from this project, but simply want to remind, or to educate someone about this almost forgotten franchise.
